James Allgood, Coach - E-Mail
James first played rugby at 13 for the Stanbridge Earls Wyverns in southern England. A reluctant player at first, once he learned the rules he was hooked. He moved back to Northern California where he was a member of the Lamorinda Rodents who won the state championship in 1993 and 1994. After a short stint in the Northern Transvaal province of South Africa he attended the University of Arizona and was repededitly ranked one of the top teams in the nation. As a freshman he was fortunate enough to be invited to play with Otahuhu RFC just outside of Auckland, New Zealand where he learned from players and coaches that took his game to another level. Since graduation, he has played with the Gaels' Sevens team, Olympic Club and Golden Gate. James is a marketing manager at AllBusiness.com

Bill Demar, Coach - E-Mail
Bill got started playing rugby a bit later in life, not being exposed to the game until attending a game at UC Davis where his younger brother played. After graduating from UC Riverside he joined the Old Blue Griffins in 2001, which was a merger of the Berkeley Old Blues and the Hayward Griffins, and instantly took on to the sport. In 2002 he accompanied Hayward to the Final Four where they lost in the Semi Finals, but won their consolation match to finish 3rd in the Country in Division 1 Men's. In 2004 he made another run with Hayward for a National Championship, only to be denied in the Sweet 16 by a game Chicago Griffins side. Bill still plays primarily 7's in the summer, participating in tournaments with various teams and traveling sides. Bill is a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones Investments.

She is a 3-time member of the Pacific Coast Grizzlies U-23 Women's team and co-captained the squad in 2006. Naima has also represented the USA on the Women's U-19 and U-23 teams. Austin Britts, Coach - E-Mail
Austin started his rugby career at the University of Washington in the fall of ’99 . After three years with the Huskies and a year abroad playing for the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, Austin continued his career with the US Super League club Old Puget Sound Beach RFC. In 2005, Austin turned in his rain jacket and headed to the Midwest to play for the Chicago Lions RFC. During his three year stint with the Lions, the Chicago club played in 3 successive Super League Semi Final matches, 1 Super League Final match, and won the 2007 National Sevens Championship of which he was named the tournament MVP. Austin has won National All-Star Championships with both the Pacific Coast and Midwest territorial unions. He feels extremely fortunate to have played the great game of rugby on multiple continents, and he looks forward to sharing his love of the game and its culture with a younger generation. Austin currently trades commodities for a small (rugby player owned!) trading company based out of Seattle, WA.
Stephanie Roth, Coach - E-Mail
It only took one practice to hook Stephanie to the sport of rugby when she started playing at New Mexico State University in the fall of ’99. After playing four years with the Chiles in a variety of positions, mostly in the second row and eight, she graduated and moved to Tennessee for graduate school where she briefly played with the Knoxville Women’s Club. In the spring of ’07, she joined the Berkeley All-Blues where she is a current member of the team. Stephanie played with the West U-23 Women’s team and is a two-time National Champion (2007, 2008) with the Berkeley All-Blues. Stephanie has enjoyed her rugby career and looks forward to sharing her passion and love for the sport to youth in the community. Stephanie is currently an elementary physical education teacher at Monarch Academy in Oakland, CA.
